I hate everything. I want to go. To South Carolina...with him.

Nothing justifies this. Nothing. He left me in the hospital.

Every night i've prayed for an answer.

Nobody will ever know the love we had.

I love you Mickey.

Damn Chara! [11 Mar 2011|04:35pm]
[ mood | bored ]

And, Wednesday night, Pacioretty certainly didn't help Zdeno Chara, as his incendiary interview with Bob McKenzie of TSN in which he outright accused him of intent to injure:

"I heard (Chara) said he didn't mean to do it. I felt he did mean to do it. I would feel better if he said he made a mistake and that he was sorry for doing that, I could forgive that, but I guess he's talking about how I jumped up or something."

"I believe he was trying to guide my head into the turnbuckle. We all know where the turnbuckle is. It wasn't a head shot like a lot of head shots we see but I do feel he targeted my head into the turnbuckle."

That motherfucker is HUGE. 6'9". UGH.

OOOOOOooooooh journal.

Sometimes I wanna write so much stuff in here, it would blow up the computer screen. Yet, when I sit down to make any sort of an update, it's almost like i'm trying to top the last one. So I sit down with my hands hovering over the keyboard and nothing comes out.

I do have a pretty interesting life though, despite me not being about to write about it. Hah.

I've been shopping online for bento boxes all day. Where I work they're funny about the company fridge so you gotta kinda come prepared. I like the fact that most bento boxes are used for portion control. And they're so damn cute.

I wanna do something today. I'm so couped up. Spring is taking waaaaaayyy too long. I wanna be able to take my wiener out for a morning walk everyday. That, to me, is the best way to wake up: together. :)

Life is good, just generally sad lately.

Oh well.

This summer has been a whirlwind for me. I went to Chicago, got a boyfriend, got some tattooes and have been generally getting rowdy when the sun goes down (carpe noctem, right?) I'de upload some pictures of the tattoos, but Chelsea D took my camera to L.A. with her. Oh well.

I woke up this morning for the second day in a row feeling awesome. This is weird because for the past two months, i've been having issues with waking up in the morning. I'll be violently woke up by my stomach feeling like an alien is going to burst out. Instead, i'll spend usually 1-3 hours in the bathroom throwing up. Thank god for Mary Jane, right? I dare you to show me a medicine that takes away my nausea and gently rocks me back to sleep in it's arms better. And I'm not pregnant. Like I said, this has been going on for months.

tah day [15 May 2009|10:48am]
[ mood | lazy ]

I get to go to the Novi Comic Con today! Wootenany! Last year (I think it was) they had names like David Mack from Kabuki and shit, so i'm PUMPED.

I hope you all have been enjoying my daily wisdoms. Nobody gave me insight on Hindu religion and culture, which I find facinating with their modern day deities and such, so i'm just trying to pass along some common Hindu knowledge. Something I think is funny and ironic is how people react to my drawings of Kali-Ma (that I made at home and are going to post later in the week when I finish painting). Automatically people look at movies like Sinbad (or whatever the fuck it was called) and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Now, i'm just as much as an Indiana Jones fan as the next person, so i'm not dogging on it at all. That movie kicked so much ass. And I think you're kinda rediculous if you take the religious violence in that movie to heart. Yep, I said it. Most people would never even know that Kali, the one Mola-Ram almost ripped Indy's still-beating heart out for, is really revered as a dear mother. Oh well, I guess i'm here to clear up little misconceptions like that.  And you ask why Hindu all of a sudden? (And you better read this, cause repeating it gets old) I just think it's time I give my body and mind a break for a while and hollistically heal it.  I've always been a fan of polytheistic religions, and if Ra and Bastet were still taking up collections, i'de probably be there. I don't want to call myself a Hindu or label anything, because A) Hindu defines the person's background in most cases anyway. Hindu techinically isn't the word to describe the religion itsself, but the people--just like Henna is the paste and Mehndi is the art of putting Henna on. and B) I'm still learning and exploring myself.  So yeah, I might make mistakes here and there (who doesn't), but my ultmate quest is to find my center with clarity and balance myself there.

Anyway, I have to jump in the shower. My cousin Shawn's gunna be here and I have some nerdin' to do down in Novi today.

(Krishna's blue. Arjuna's the homey to the right)

भगवद् गीता

The Bhagavad Gita ("Song of God") is an important Sanskrit Hindu scripture. It is revered as a sacred scripture of Hinduism, and considered as one of the most important religious classics of the world. The Bhagavad Gita is a part of the Mahabharata, comprising 700 verses. The teacher of the Bhagavad Gita is Krishna, who is regarded by the Hindus as the supreme manifestation of the Lord Himself, and is referred to within as Bhagavan—the divine one. The Bhagavad Gita is commonly referred to as The Gita for short.

One of my favorite lines from the Gita:

As Arjun stood in his chariot looking over the two armies, he said to God, "I will not fight," and laid down his bow and arrows on the ground.

God said, "Only the soul is real and the soul can never be killed. For this reason, Arjun, rise and conquer your enemies."

Read it for free!

daily wisdom two [11 May 2009|07:37pm]

Kali is a Hindu goddess associated with death and destruction. The name Kali means "black", but has by folk etymology come to mean "force of time (kala)". Despite her negative connotations, she is today considered the goddess of time and change. Although sometimes presented as dark and violent, her earliest incarnation as a figure of annihilation still has some influence. More complex Tantric beliefs sometimes extend her role so far as to be the "ultimate reality" or Brahman. She is also revered as Bhavatarini (literally "redeemer of the universe"). Comparatively recent devotional movements largely conceive Kali as a benevolent mother goddess.

Kali is represented as the consort of god Shiva, on whose body she is often seen standing on. She is associated with many other Hindu goddesses like Durga, Bhadrakali, Sati, Rudrani, Parvati and Chamunda. She is the foremost among the Dasa-Mahavidyas, ten fierce Tantric goddesses.

As Kali, the Goddess fought with Raktavija, the lord of the Asuras (Demons). But for every drop of Raktavija's blood that touched the Earth, a thousand demons sprang up. Kali in Her divine madness solved this by licking up every drop of his blood with Her tongue, and won the day. Wild with joy, She continued to dance her dance of destruction until the gods begged Her to stop; but She did not listen. Finally Her husband Shiva came to implore Her--still crazed, She did not recognize Him and instead threw Him on the floor with the corpses and danced over Him. How badass is that?

p.s. she's my favorite :D
